About Us

Back in 2013 due to all the damage my hair had suffered I decided to educate myself properly on how to care for my hair type. I had previously owned and managed my own salon so I had intimate insight into the hair industry. I experimented a lot with my own hair and used products packed with harsh chemicals which only made my hair worse. I started creating my own products for myself at first using ingredients I could trust.

I studied cosmetic science, did plenty of research and developed a deep passion for product making. I wanted  to create products with natural ingredients you can trust and that gives all hair types great results. Fast forward to today I’m proud to see my products everywhere leaving their prints on the natural hair and beauty community. With thousands of amazing reviews and great results! I am so happy the products are working wonders for you guys and I can’t thank you all enough for the continuous  support .

We started in my living room but now proudly operate out of our massive warehouse so we can produce and provide more products for all our customers across the world.

Retro Rich is all about bringing back the old elegance and feel of hair and beauty products. By unravelling the beauty secrets of ancient African Queens we bring together different cultures and ancient knowledge on hair and beauty. This inspires our creation of organic products containing 100% natural ingredients from the motherland. We go back to our roots to create our modern hair and beauty EMPIRE! 👑 “Using ancient recipes for modern beauty”.  

We are also focused on being environmentally friendly and that's why none of our products are tested on animals.  We also exclusively package our products in fully recyclable glass.
